Dear Priscilla

Dear Priscilla
“Power of Two”
[[Based on a True Story: Acts 18]]

Dear Priscilla,

Your story is very simple, not much recorded. Each time your name was mentioned, in all the six times, there is wisdom to be gained. Without exception, your name is accompanied with Aquila, your husband, always. Your story teaches us to embrace doing ministry with our husbands. Ministry is more bearable in pairs. You didn’t leave him to do the ministry of the church alone. You are lauded for your dedication and for standing along side him.

The wisdom that is attached to your story is very lucrative for women who are married to pastors, missionaries, evangelist and entrepreneur as for example. You teach us to never let him carry the weight alone. There is strength in pairs. At times when the venture becomes a load to heavy to carry, together you can carry it. Being by Aquilla’s side provides safety as well. It prevents you from being tempted or deceived by the serpent like what happened to Eve.

Modern day Priscilla, there is power in two. You keep standing beside your husband to do the work of the Lord. When he falls you will be there to catch him. When he is weak you will be there to pray for him. When he wants to give up you will be there to encourage him to keep going. Together, you can do more for God. Together, you can warm each other. Together, you can endure load. Together you can pray. Together you can change the world.

Strongly together & Inspired by,
Friend

  1. Hmmm…..I didn’t see this before in the story of Pricilla but now I do. It’s super important to stand by your man, especially in ministry.
