Dear Jarius’ Daughter

Dear Jarius’ Daughter
“Send the mockers out. Don’t be afraid, only believe. Even when death shows up, wait”
[[Based on a True Story: Matthew 9:18–26, Mark 5:21-43, Luke 8:40–56 ]]

Dear Jarius’ Daughter,

Not many narratives are duplicated in the bible. Au contraire, yours was on three different accounts. Each reporter tells their own rendition of what they saw happened. Piece by piece we see some dissimilar descriptions of this past event. Some said you were dying and some said you were dead. But one thing that remained consistent, there were some people who didn’t believe that Jesus could raise you from the dead. When word got out that you died, they laughed at Him and expressed their disbelief. But that didn’t stop your father from letting Jesus come over to you. Another thing that stands out, on Jesus’ way to you, something happened that took away His immediate attention. A woman with an issue of blood touched him. She had this issue for 12 years, for as long as you’ve been alive. Some people would have ignored the woman to rush to heal you. And some would have forgotten about you. But Jesus didn’t forget about you. After blessing the woman, He made his way over to you. Here is what you can take away from this, no matter what happens, God will never forget you. We are some powerful people yet we are limited. You can’t save yourself and neither can I. When it comes to God that is not the case. He can do everything.

Modern day Jarius’ daughter, maybe you are being faced with some rarities. You have cancer and the doctors are saying it is in its most aggressive stage. They don’t believe that God can heal you. You find yourself in need for a remedial word but have to wait. Waiting sucks. I know. Usually, when we find ourselves waiting it appears as though nothing is happening. In this waiting room, we often lose patience and may even lose sight of what we’ve been waiting on.

In the place that God is going to bless you, those who laughed, those with disbelief, and those who mocked cannot be in the room. If you want to see God do supernatural you are going to have to let the natural out of the room. This room can only hold God, you and the believers. Don’t let people’s disbelief cause you to miss out on God’s marvel. Your story teaches us that God will do supernatural occurrence in the presence of your doubters. Don’t lose sight, keep waiting, Keep the faith. Til death, wait. God hasn’t forgotten about you. He is on His way to you. You are next.

Tulip
