Dear Mary Magdalene

Dear Mary Magdalene
Turn your gratitude into Servitude
[[Based on True Story: Book of Luke 8:1-3 Mark 16:9]]

 Dear Mary Magdalene,

We heard Jesus healed you from having seven demons. The actual footage isn’t chronicled. We have very few details. Seven demons meant you had to have practiced these 7 most deadly sins, greed, pride, lust, hatred, wrath, envy and idolatry. Ranking you as the World Deadliest Sinner.

I’m not sure how it works. Is the greater the sin, the greater the death?

One thing I know is that your story teaches us – the greater the grace greater the devotion. After Jesus healed you, your radicalness for Him went through the roof. No one was more devoted to Jesus than you. That’s noteworthy. Today you are remembered for that. Mark highlighted that you were the first person to see Jesus after His resurrection. And you were the one who went to break the news to the others. That’s amazing! Do you know how many women God has delivered and haven’t returned to give thanks? You have exemplify true devotion to God. You are now ranked the World’s Most Devoted Woman.

Oh, Rumor has it that you and Jesus had something going on. What’s that all about? People are soooo messy. So WHAT you and Jesus had a thing going on? People always want to find something to spread.

Modern day Mary Magdalene, what has Jesus done for you? Has he delivered you, healed you, provided for you, blessed you, advocated for you, defended you, redeemed you, saved you??? Whatever it is He has done, he deserves your thanks. You need to turn your gratitude into servitude. Yeah, your past wasn’t the best. People will spread rumors about you. Turn your mess into the message.  Stay the course. Be total devoted to God. Go and bear witness to the World that Jesus is ALIVE!

Strongly together & Inspired by,
Friend
