Dear Sarai
“Nothing can obstruct God’s promises in your life.”
[[Based on a True Story: Genesis 18]]
Dear Sarai,
They called you Sarah for short, the mother of many nations. The irony is you don’t even have a child. Turns out, you are a problem solver. You seem to have a solution to every problem, or at least you try to. This has backfired many times – Like that time when you sent Hagar to sleep with your husband to bore him a child. Epic fail! Here is the problem; you forced to do something that God promised He would do. You didn’t want to wait. You rushed baking the cake and now you burned it. Oh! By the way, the way you treated Hagar was uncalled for. You’re the one who put her in this mess.
But I understand you, you were pushing 90 years of age… how can this be, that you would bear a child at that age. You rushed to have a child before God’s appointed time. The way you did it turned out to be completely out of the will of God. Here is the dagger; you have to deal with your mistake. For. The. Rest. Of. Your. Life.
Modern day Sarai, wait on God. Even though it seems like it isn’t going to happen, you need to take God at His word. When He says He is going to do something, believe Him. Maybe you are considering in vitro or even the adoption route. It is not too late for you. Believe in the promises that God has made you. God’s ability and power aren’t outdated. He is still able to do it. “Is there anything too hard for the Lord” Genesis 18:14. Remain hopeful. Trust God and His process. You will rejoice in His promises. So, if you think you are way too young or way too old to have or do something, think again because what is impossible for man is possible with God. Don’t let your age or any limiting factor stop you from believing what you are deserving of is on its way. Don’t doubt something that God said He would do because you do not have the qualifications as a result of your age, degree, and skill. Nothing can obstruct God’s promises in your life.
Strongly together & Inspired by,
Friend
