Dear Manoah’s wife

Dear Manoah’s wife
“The blessing is in the instruction”
[[Based on a True Story: Judges 13]]

Dear Manoah’s wife,

You are the mother of one of the strongest man in the bible, Samson. Strangely enough your son is more talked about than you. Failure to talk about you has caused many of us to lose a piece of your story. Your encounter with God is such a rare one. In most barren/infertility stories we find God mostly speak to the husbands and not as to the wives. He sent an angel to you directly. Why did God speak to you and not Manoah? What is His reasoning for that?

This child wasn’t going to be an ordinary child. This infertility story was going to be distinct. God sent the angel to you for the sake of the preparation of the “room” Being that you are the one with the womb he wanted you to prepare the womb for this visit that you were expecting. He had specific instructions that he wanted you to follow no wine for you or any unclean foods. Furthermore, he gave instructions for your son to carry out for the rest of his life. The purpose for your son requires him to be dedicated to God from the womb.

Modern day Manoah’s wife, how many times have you prayed to God to reveal His purpose for the child that He is giving you? The assignment over your children has to be known from the time they’re in the womb. It helps smoothen the way for them. It is one thing for your child to go to the best medical university but it is a complete greater advantage to prepare them in the womb. Don’t neglect your child’s purpose because they aren’t born yet. Your womb is the “preparation womb” for you child’s future.

Strongly together & Inspired by,
Friend
