Celeste Charles – Stronger with Her

As Celeste stands in front of the pulpit at my church on a Wednesday night leading worship, she stops to share one of her most painful life events. She talks openly about a miscarriage and the brokenness she had. This was a devastating time for her and her husband Terrence. She shared about the emotional healing through it all. God is always there to put the broken pieces of our hearts back together as if nothing ever happened. This is what He did for them. Now, they have a beautiful son, Nicholas. While others’ struggles are hidden secrets, she shares a lot with us women, being a positive influence in our lives. As she share’s her victory, she re-channels our focus to Jesus, as without Him nothing is possible.

Here goes my virtual questionnaire with Celeste:

  1. What do you do?
I am a Wife and mother (those will always be my first priorities after God!), a lifestyle blogger who’s goal is to inspire millennial women live their best life in Christ, and a virtual administrative assistant.
  2. What is one thing you would you like the audience to know about you?
I love Jesus so very very much! And I really really believe that if you allow Him to infiltrate every area of a life, you’ll live a more peaceful and joyful life.
  3. How do you deal with failures, hardships, judgmental and pessimistic people?
I don’t believe in “failures” because every time we “fail” is really an opportunity to learn and learning is a means to better yourself! When hardships come around, I declare what I know to be true or what I want to be true in the situation which always increases my faith and helps me to push through. When it comes to judgments and pessimistic people, I just don’t let them bother me by not surrounding myself with them. No time or room for negativity here.
  1. What is the one thing that you would say contributed most to your success?
Being obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit. There are several times that I chose to listen to God and deny my own flesh that, in hindsight turned out to be life-changing moments not only for me but for people who I share my life with. Obedience is key!
  1. What advice would you offer women wanting to be like you and make a difference?
Do all that you can to passionately pursue your purpose! God had a blueprint laid out for your life before you were even conceived and I strongly believe that every desire, passion, and dream we have is linked to that blueprint. Align yourself with the Father and pursue your passion and I know for a fact that it’ll lead you to leave a life full of peace and joy!

I am stronger with her. She teaches me as a blogger, the importance of transparency with my audience. Share the ugly things, the embarrassing things, even though it may not be comfortable to be exposed, it will definitely create a space where others can relate. It can oft inspire someone or even save someone. Celeste, your testimony is evidence of the true living God.

 Here’s to divine favor Celeste
Cheers!
